PM welcomes Singapore volunteers
Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith on Thursday received a courtesy visit by a group of almost 60 Singaporean students from various schools and universities who are contributing to educational development in Laos. The group was led by the Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to Laos Mr Dominic Goh and other Singaporean officials. During the visit, Prime Minister Thongloun said he was thankful for the generosity of the young volunteers from Singapore in taking part in various activities at schools in Hinheup district, Vientiane province, and Sikhottabong district, Vientiane. It is now 43 years since our two nations established diplomatic ties, since when we have continuously maintained our friendship and fruitfully cooperated, he said.
